In Madagascar, accessing public services often involves bureaucratic hurdles, paper-based processes, and inefficiencies that hinder citizens' ability to obtain official documents or verify their identity. MyID aims to streamline identity verification, reduce paperwork, and enhance the accessibility of government services through digital means. By eliminating the need for redundant physical documents, it simplifies interactions with governmental institutions and ensures secure, tamper-proof identity management.
MyID integrates robust security measures to ensure the safety and privacy of user data. Key features include:
Biometric Authentication: Enhancing identity verification through fingerprint or facial recognition.
Encrypted Digital Identity Wallet: Users store and manage their official documents securely.
Seamless Government Integration: Direct connectivity with public administration databases.
Tamper-Proof Verification: Utilizing encryption and unique identifiers to prevent fraud.
Multi-Platform Accessibility: Available on web and mobile for ease of use.
These features collectively provide a secure, efficient, and modern alternative to traditional identity verification processes, promoting digital inclusion.

MyID represents a major milestone in Madagascar’s digital transformation by empowering citizens with a reliable and transparent identity management system. By collaborating with public institutions, MyID aligns with global trends in e-governance, fostering improved service delivery and administrative efficiency. Additionally, it supports the country’s efforts to combat identity fraud and streamline bureaucratic processes, ensuring a more inclusive, digital-first future for all.

Earning 2nd place at Prototypeo in the Legal Literacy category, MyID has been recognized for its innovative approach to digital identity.
Participating in the MyID competition with Prototypeo challenged me to design a secure and efficient digital identity verification system. This project deepened my understanding of cryptographic security, decentralized identity management, and user authentication mechanisms. It also allowed me to explore the practical applications of blockchain and AI in identity verification, reinforcing my ability to develop secure, scalable, and user-friendly authentication solutions.
MyID is more than just a project—it is a vision for a more connected and accessible Madagascar, where identity verification is no longer a barrier but a gateway to improved public service experiences.
